The village has been selected for the demonstration of some of the technologies developed by RFRI, Jorhat keeping in view their suitability to the local conditions. On-farm Participatory Research is also an important aspect among the activities for developing and making the new techniques adaptable to the site-specific conditions and also their instant transfer in the neighboring villages at large.
